Re: [Peckers_Pics] Male/Gay Health-Discussion-PICS Re: Hair Wars-Sep 24, 2011-Boycott Georgia for Execution of TROY DAVIS

Not all people are born into a faith or church.   Now that I know what evryone was referring to Church of Jeus Christ of Latter day Saints (the Mormons) I must say that they have the Book of Morman and the Bible.
They are referred to more as a cult because theybelive certain things like the swecond coming wwill be in I believe its Missouri and not in Israel (of Jesus) and that the American natives are part of Israel etc,
They will tell you that they are Christians as far as I know but the main point is that they claim that the lost tribes of Israel (which are not lost another cult lie)  and they deliberately detract from the importance of the physical Israel
in Bible prophecy.
Yes they are NOT a BIBLE group because they only use parts of it for their cultic beliefs and usually will tell you that they are Christians.

So if they are against Gays, and hey actually have less to do with Christians but pretend to be so and therefore
cause more anti-Christian feelings amongst gays than should exist, they are worse than those so-calle dChristians that are hypocrites.
Sorry Jake I had to say this.

Hi Jay;
Are you LDS?  I don't like starting a religious discussion as some one shall get offended. Further, This is not abible group. Therefore, caution to other members who comment (and you know who I am refering too, do not make go beyond what I have stated). I only requested a simple answer to the LDS question!  Next, is not one really born into a faith/church?  I doubt many would chose the same faith if they had no parents, or a relgious preference. Perhaps, some do not believe in a higher power.  But, when you grow up with-in a religion, you respect it. But, that religion needs to respect you in return.  The child did not know he was gay. Later, as he got older, he found out he was gay. Not acting upon what you are is mentally unhealthy. Being rejected by ones church is like being rejected by ones family.
Hence, the person evolved; but, the church itself did not evolve.  The church once allowed polygamy. So why has it not evolved to allow someone to be gay?
Further, the bible states the world is flat and we came from Adam and Eve. I despute these facts. Do we leave a church over these facts?  Would the church reject members who learned the world is round, and we are not the center of a infinite universe?
Well, the bible has flaws.  The old testament is not inline with the  politically influenced 2ND testament presented. Also, sometimes we evolve for better as well as worst.   One day God thinks one thing and the next day God thinks something else? Or, God's words are really not written and a religious philosopher influenced by political church's, kings - wrote it? You must know history and have seen than history if often re-written to apease the rulers of the land.
You say you are BI?  What makes you think you are BI?  Is it a rejection that you may be gay? But, BI, sounds better?  What is your age?  Are you single? Married to a woman?  I would like to know more.
I know this must be difficult for you.  And you been brought up that the church comes 1st. You may believe that the church is perfect. But, you know deep down, that nothing in life is perfect.  I knwo if you say the LDS is not correct, you will be disgarded.  That places one in a dishonest position.
One never chooses to be gay.  Why would someone choose to be something that everyone rejects. Perhpas, there is a gene that determines if we are heteroxusal or homosexual?
Imagine how depressed this person was being a homosexual and his church turned on him, rather than keep quiet, or allow him to continue.  He killed himself over this. What did we do as a society to prevent this incident?  We ffailed. You failed.  The LDS failed.
At one time, the pope was allowed to get married. Than later, the pope had to be single.  And, like polygamy, the church evolve. Again, sometimes one evolves for better or worst.
Now, about boycotts.  Yes, there are times when we must work with a organization to change it. But, if it does not change, one needs to walk away.  To give the company, state, etc... money would be dollars used to hurt us later on.  For instance, there was Muslims who gave money to terrorist organizations.  They later learned the money was used to kill Jews, Christians.  Many of those Muslims, decided to boycott that organization, rather than continue to give it money. Well, we are doing the same thing. Most boycotts take time.  People get to learn the whole story and than they realize they were taken by corporations, politicians that really do not protect them.
Glad you enjoy the group. Please give people sympathy and understanding if they learn they are gay.  And, it is totally unhealthy on a mental and physical level to abstain from sexual relations.  Always be honest with one-self.
